We Will Rock You

The process of designing a nursery is a bit overwhelming, especially for us first timers. You want it to be just right, have every single necessity within arms reach. One of the purchases I really pondered over was the rocker. I wanted it to be stylish and comfortable at the same time, and let me just tell you-these things can be U.G.L.Y.

My first thought was to go old school and find a wooden rocker (much like the one my mom used for us), but then I began to lean more towards the greatness that is upholstered gliders. 

For all you expecting Mothers. These are some good looking chairs. I have even used some of these in Living Rooms. Yes, they are this good.

Aren't these great? Rockers have come a long way since our Mom's were rocking us to sleep at night! However, if you are going the upholstered/slip-covered route, get a sample of the fabric before you order! Not only do fabrics look different in person, but the texture can also make a huge difference, and that is something you can not tell from a computer screen :)  I know it may take a little longer, but you will be so glad you did!
